Dr. Zhang Zhonglin was born in 1957 in Qingtian, Zhejiang Province, China, into a family with sixteen generations of Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners spanning over 400 years. From a young age he studied classic TCM texts — the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon, the Compendium of Materia Medica, and the Treatise on Cold Damage Disorders — building a deep foundation in pattern-based diagnosis and herbal therapy.
In 1993, Dr. Zhang moved to Europe and founded China Yishou Tang, TCM clinics in Latvia and Poland, bringing authentic Chinese medical care to Eastern Europe. Over more than thirty years of practice he has treated thousands of patients for conditions including tumors, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and infertility, combining precise diagnosis with gentle, effective treatment.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Zhang has served since 2011 as founding President of the Federation of Overseas Chinese in Latvia — the first such organization in the country — building bridges between the Chinese and Latvian communities through cultural exchange, charitable work and grassroots diplomacy. He continues to dedicate his life to sharing the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the world.

张仲林医生1957年出生于中国浙江省青田县，出身中医世家，家族行医十六代，积累四百余年的中医传承。他自幼研习《黄帝内经》《本草纲目》《伤寒论》等中医经典，打下辨证施治与中草药疗法的深厚基础。
1993年，张仲林医生远赴欧洲，在拉脱维亚和波兰创办"中国怡寿堂"中医诊所，将正宗的中医诊疗带入东欧。三十余年来，他诊治了无数患者，涉及肿瘤、糖尿病、心脑血管疾病及不孕不育等领域，以精准辨证和温和有效的疗法著称。
除行医济世外，张仲林医生自2011年起担任拉脱维亚华侨华人联合会创会会长——该国首个华侨社团，通过文化交流、公益慈善与民间外交，搭建中拉两国人民之间的友谊桥梁。他将毕生精力奉献于向世界传播中医药文化的智慧。
